These can be worn without any polish and treatment, and yet they look classy and elegant. Formed in the mollusks in the deep layers of the oceans, the natural or Basara Pearls are rare to find. Nonetheless, one can easily find cultured pearls in the market. Cultivated by surgically inserting a mantle tissue and a bead nucleus into an oyster, cultured pearls are imitation of natural pearls. These oysters are then re-harvested in the oceans where the natural pearls are formed. Though there is the huge difference between the quality standards of the two, imitated pearls are bigger in size.
